Badges
are an individual hand cast and then hand painted reproduction,
mounted on French Polished Oak or Teak, and made using
traditional methods employed for decades within the Royal
Navy. These types of Badge are rarely available in the
shops except antique shops, and are generally hard to
find. They are now mass produced in plastic or tin and
are no longer made on board the ship by the sailors themselves.
